Problema na criação de uma expressão MDX no Project Server 2007, utilizando a versão (Portugues Brazil)

Pessoal, Boa noite.

Na semana passada tive a infeliz necessidade de criar um relatório de acompanhamento de Curva "S" no Project Server 2007, na versão em (Português Brazil) instalada em um cliente. Na versão 2003, podíamos criar uma formula dentro do Portfólio Analizer e exibir o acumulo do campo "Work", por exemplo. Na versão 2007, precisamos criar uma expressão MDX para criarmos uma nova dimensão no Cubo OLAP e a partir daí utilizar esta nova dimensão no Analisador de Dados. Foi quando descobri que o Project Server 2007 não aceitava a inserção de nunhum tipo de expressão, por mais simples que fosse. Depois de 2 dias tentando de tudo que foi maneira, joguei a toalha e recorri a um chamado na Microsoft. O Engenheiro da Microsoft John Leaf me atendeu e após um dia inteiro no telefone e através do "Easy Assist" chegamos juntos à conclusão de que havia um Bug na ferramenta nesta versão, pois na versão em inglês funcionou perfeitamente.

John passou as informações para a equipe de desenvolvimento da Microsoft mas não tem previsão de atendimento ao famigerado BUG. Por enquanto, para quem precisa trabalhar com a versão em Português e necessita criar relatórios que exijam a inserção de expressões MDX, como o de Curva "S", é necessário montar um ambiente em Inglês e usar o pacote de linguagem (Português Brazil). Vale lembrar que algumas coisas não são traduzidas como, por exemplo, os conteúdos dos campos.

Customer was trying to add a new calculated dimension to their PWA site. They had found an article on MSDN that explained how to use MDX expressions to create this new calculated dimension. When they tried to save their cube configuration they get the below error message, which was translated to English:

Fail while saving the personalized field and the calculated measure configurations. verify if the following rules were respected:
1- the number of personalized fields, added as dimension, don´t exceed 100 in each cube
2- each personalized field name is valid to OLAP
3- the personalized field, the calculated measure and the project server internal cube object names are different one from another

This is something that their client needs to have on the PWA site and customer will not be able to deploy this to the production server without this working.

Cause
================
This seems to be a bug in the Portuguese version of Project Server 2007.

Resolution
================
Customer installed the English Language Pack for SharePoint and Project Server 2007. After installing this language pack and provisioning an English PWA site the customer was able to add the calculated measure on the English PWA site. An Offbug will be filed on behalf of the customer to our developers since this should also work on the Portuguese version of the Project 2007 Server.
